Membership entitles members to a wide range of benefits including music and live entertainment on a regular basis, ladies’ and men’s darts teams which compete in local leagues, regular quiz and race nights, Sky Sports/ ESPN/ Racing UK shown on two large flat screen TVs and three full-size snooker tables.
Membership is open to all men and women of good character aged 18 and above, Children under the age of 18 are not permitted in the Club, the one exception to this rule being for attendance at the annual service of remembrance at the War Memorial on Remembrance Sunday morning.
Membership costs just £35 a year with an additional one-off joining fee of £5. The membership application form is straightforward and available from the bar staff. The bar staff will also assist in helping find a proposer for the application who must be an existing member of the club. Two committee members must countersign the application before it can be considered by the full committee.
Membership runs from January 1 to December 31. Existing members may renew their membership between December 1 and January 31.
Temporary membership may be granted for up to two months at a cost of £5 a month. This is helpful when an applicant may be visiting the local area for a short time only.

Club members enjoy a lively and varied social scene which they can take advantage of as much or as little as they like. There is no pressure to take part. If you simply want to enjoy a relaxing drink in the Club, that’s perfectly fine. But if you want to add to your social scene take a look at what’s on offer.

Since 5th November 2020 the doors to the Club have been closed due to Coronavirus restrictions. As we do not serve food we were unable to open under tier 2 restrictions and remain closed until the Government tell us we can re-open.
When we are open without restrictions these are our opening times.
Monday to Thursday;
11am until 11.00pm (Including Bank Holidays. Club doors open at 10.30am)
Friday and Saturdays;
11am until 12.00 midnight
12 midday until 11.00pm
12.00 noon to 2.00pm
11am to 12.00 midnight
